A dated, non-mobile WordPress theme was failing a majority-mobile audience, with a major book launch 10 days out. A mood-board-driven branding sprint and a custom Salient child theme let us rebrand, rebuild, and relaunch the site, plus a premium redesign of the “16 Rules of Internet Success” lead magnet, in time for launch.

Case study details
How the rebrand, redesign, and relaunch came together in 10 days.
The plan
With no time for a months-long branding process, we used our signature Website Mood Board approach to set the visual direction fast. Our creative director walked Jeff through boards capturing facets of his brand (authority, approachability, entrepreneurial energy), and we settled on a look and feel in days, not weeks.
Then three tracks ran in parallel:
- Brand & UX: turn the chosen mood board into a clean, conversion-focused design that feels like “Jeff” and works beautifully on mobile.
- Content & structure: reorganize his library of blogs and videos to support discovery and list-building.
- Build & launch: build a custom WordPress child theme on Salient and launch a fast, fully functional site before the book release deadline.
His lead magnet, “The 16 Rules of Internet Success,” also needed to look world-class; a flimsy PDF would undercut his authority where credibility is everything.
Results
In 10 intense days, we:
- Rebranded, redesigned, and launched the new JeffWalker.com on a custom WordPress child theme built on Salient.
- Delivered a mobile-first experience that finally matched how his audience browses.
- Gave the “16 Rules of Internet Success” lead magnet a premium design that signaled the caliber of Jeff’s training from the first opt-in.
- Created a memorable list-building hub that took the Internet marketing community by storm when it went live days before Launch hit shelves.
Jeff said we’d “pulled off a miracle,” beating expectations on quality and speed under what he thought was an impossible deadline.
Tech & tools
Under the hood, a lean, powerful stack:
- WordPress with a custom child theme on the Salient framework, for performance and flexibility.
- A mood board–driven workflow to settle typography, color, textures, and imagery that fit Jeff and his audience.
- A responsive front end tuned for mobile, with layouts that highlight video and blog content.
- Opt-in and lead magnet integration for “The 16 Rules of Internet Success,” with prominent CTAs and a premium download.
- A content structure that lets Jeff’s team publish launch content, weekly videos, and blog posts without design bottlenecks.
Conclusion
Jeff couldn’t afford a “good enough” site. His audience, peers, and students see him as the gold standard for online launches, and every page had to reinforce that.
A compressed branding process, focused UX, smart content architecture, and disciplined development produced a site that elevated his brand right when the world was paying the most attention. It remains one of our proudest “sprint” builds.
Peaceful Media pulled off a miracle with JeffWalker.com… Simply put, they get us and our kind of business. These folks are top notch and well worth every penny you'll spend with them.
