Segmetrics review

Funnel analytics that follow the money: attribution tied to your CRM, not just to pageviews.

Our take

Is Segmetrics right for you?

Standard analytics tells you a campaign produced four hundred clicks. It can’t tell you that eleven of them became customers worth more than everything else you spent that month. Segmetrics closes that gap by connecting to your CRM and stitching ad source to opt-in to purchase, so the number you optimise is revenue, not traffic.

For an audience-first business with a long consideration window, that’s the difference between a guess and a decision. The channel that looks worst on cost-per-lead is often the one producing buyers, and you can only see that by following the same person all the way through, not from clicks.

Go in expecting work. Attribution is hard, and the answers are only as good as the tracking and CRM hygiene underneath: mislabelled sources in, confident nonsense out. It’s worth it once ad spend justifies the setup, and premature before then.

Common questions

Questions about Segmetrics

What people usually want to know before committing, answered the way we'd answer them on a call.

What does Segmetrics show that Google Analytics can't?

What a lead was worth, not just where they came from. Standard analytics can tell you a campaign produced four hundred clicks, but not that eleven became customers. Segmetrics connects to your CRM to stitch ad source to opt-in to purchase, so you see lifetime value per lead and exactly which lead magnet, page, or campaign each buyer touched on the way in.

When is a business ready for it?

When real money moves through paid traffic and the next decision is about scale. In practice, that's a solid six- or seven-figure business asking what it takes to reach the next level, the point where guessing which channel produces buyers gets expensive. Before that, your platform's own reporting is enough, and this would answer a question you aren't yet asking.

Is it worth the higher price?

It costs more than most analytics tools, and it's aimed at businesses where that's the smaller number. If you're spending seriously on ads, the cost of optimising the wrong channel for a quarter dwarfs the subscription: the channel that looks worst on cost-per-lead is often the one producing your best customers, and you can't see that from clicks. At lower spend, the maths doesn't work.

How much setup does it need?

Real setup, so go in expecting it. Attribution is hard, and the answers are only as good as the tracking and CRM hygiene underneath: mislabelled sources in, confident nonsense out. Mitigating that, their support and educational material are excellent, which is unusual in this category and a real help when you're wiring it up.
